WFL were engaged by Oracle EMEA in the role of Management Contractor to complete a Lab Relocation from the ground floor of Block C to the new location in Block B, Eastpoint Business Park.
As Management Contractor, WFL were required to liaise with the Client’s Design Team, work with and develop the initial design in line with the client’s budget, complete a full tendering process for the Electrical, Mechanical & Building packages and make recommendations to the client.
The following works were required:
WFL also undertook the role of Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage [PSCS].
WFL were engaged by St. Vincents University Hospital to complete an Acute Care upgrade to two wards in Block H in the hospital and also to expand the existing ICU by 2 No. isolation rooms. These works were carried out over two separate phases.
WFL were appointed as the main contractor on this project and were responsible for the PSDP, PSCS and all sub-contracts to the main contract. WFL completed the electrical contract and sub-contracted all other works.
Phase 1 of the project was carried out in a live hospital environment in the height of the Covid-19 national lockdown in April 2020. Phase 2 works were carried out in a live ICU ward. Both phases required high levels of co-ordination with the hospital technical and infection control departments. The works were designed and completed to current HTM and HBN regulations.
WFL provided IPS Power Units, Medical Trunking, Medical Pendants, Medical Gases, Nurse Call, Lighting, Emergency Lighting and General Power to 51 Acute Care Beds in Phase 1 and 2 No. ICU isolation rooms in Phase 2 of the contract.
WFL were engaged by Oracle EMEA in the role of Management Contractor to complete a CAT A Reinstatement Project to a Ground Floor space in Block C, Eastpoint Business Park following the relocation of a Data Lab to another building.
As Management Contractor, WFL were required to liaise with the Client’s Design Team, work with and develop the initial design inline with the client’s budget, complete a full tendering process for the Electrical, Mechanical & Building packages and make recommendations to the client.
On selection of the Electrical, Mechanical & Building sub-contractors by the Client, WFL coordinated and managed the works to deliver the project on time and on budget.
WFL completed the Electrical package directly while the Mechanical and Building packages were subcontracted. WFL also undertook the role of Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage [PSCS].
